Writing a Research Paper Unit - Technology Professional Development

We will offer 3 1-hour sessions that dealing with technology resources for the research process. They will include the following topics:

• 1st hour Online Research Strategies (we'll be using the resources provided during the training this morning)
• We'll encourage teachers to teach these strategies before beginning the research paper
• 2nd hour Online Documentation Resources through NC WISE OWL
• 3rd hour Training for Microsoft Office documentation

Professional Development for Macbeth Unit

We will offer 4 1-hour sessions dealing with technology resources for the Macbeth Unit

• 1st hour We will review resources available (such as United Streaming, EBSCO, etc.) and provide training for those who need it.
• 2nd hour You Tube search strategies and how to embed videos in PowerPoints
• 3rd hour How to use Google Forms
• 4th hour Using Flip Videos and uploading content
